Devotional: Alone in the crowd

There are so many moments that I have been afraid. Afraid to live, love, laugh, but especially – to fail. Living in fear of the “what ifs” is a lonely place. Even though so many who find themselves in that same place. They feel like they are alone in a crowded room. It’s because they have left their dreams behind.image

The Lord has given each of us gifts and talents designed just for us. He has also placed a desire deep within us to use those gifts and talents. These are where our dreams come from. Once we give up on the desire to use our gifts, our dreams fade. This leaves us feeling lonely, lost, and without purpose.

God has not given up on us. His plan is perfect. If He woke you up today, then he has given you another opportunity to make it. Use your gifts to the fullest. He will take care of the you.

Lord, I thank you for this day. Thank You for the the gifts and talents you have created just for me. They will make room in this life for me. I am excited about them and will use them for your glory everyday. In Jesus name. Amen.
