Daily Declaration: Pick up the Peaces

As a child, I used to play with puzzles with my parents. We would take our time sorting and organizing the pieces by color and shape. We had a system of working the edges first, then the middle. As the image came in to view, we would move faster in anticipation of completion. It’s the same with our life with Christ. We spend time seeking God to bring his plan for our life in to view. As we walk with the Lord, the Holy Spirit produces positive changes to our character. Through experiences and prayer, we learn to increase our love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. As we see His plan take shape, we move faster towards Him. Unlike with a puzzle, our lives never finish, but as we grow in God, section-by-section comes more and more in to view.

Prayer:

Thank you Lord for continually increasing my character and bringing your plan for my life in view. In Jesus name, amen.

Gal. 5:22-23 NLT

22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
